100% recyclable - sustainable components 
 
Frame
Made from 100% British steel, the frame is manufactured meticulously using different welds which ensure a beautiful finish whilst remaining incredibly robust.
 
The frame is then powder coated in the colour of your choice, with the finish of your choice, providing a durable and luxurious looking chair.  
 
And the best bit... it’s made right here in Devon just 5 miles from the upholstery workshop reducing our carbon footprint and allowing us to keep product quality control a priority.
 
The hard bits
Normally these sections would be made using timber. We have opted for Stokboard which is a 100% recycled plastic. This is a waterproof sheet that can be easily fabricated, will not perish like wood but provide the same strength and is manufactured in the UK.
 
The soft bits
Padding
Both eco friendly and 100% recyclable, the padding used to upholster the seat and back sections also boasts other credentials:
It is chemical free (less harm to the environment)
Has no harmful VOS’s (volatile organic compounds), meaning it's safe for humans, flame resistant and British made, giving the chair a smaller carbon footprint
 
Cushions
Our quality, super plump, comfy cushions are actually really doing their bit for plastic waste.
The filling fibre is made from 100% recycled bottles, of which 50% is Prevented Ocean Plastic. This is plastic waste which is collected before it enters the oceans and rivers in regions that do not have efficient and formal waste or recycling systems.
 
The Prevented Ocean Plastic programme is a global recycling initiative which helps tens of thousands of people around the world to earn their living, clean their coastlines and prevent ocean plastic.
 
This doesn’t necessarily make them more comfy than other non eco cushions, but it will make you feel better sitting on them!
 
Fabric
The fabrics for our chairs have all been carefully selected to ensure that there is no compromise in quality, whilst being a recycled product; quite the contrary!
 
All ranges from the eco fabric collection are knitted from yarns extruded from post-consumer PET bottles, repurposing thousands of bottles bound for our oceans or a life in landfill.
 
Each metre of fabric reuses circa 30 x 550ml bottles thus reducing carbon emissions by approx 75%, energy consumption by 70% and water usage by 80%.
 
This innovative cycle offers a unique, environmentally conscious approach to fabric production, whilst being an incredibly high perfomance product.
